Results of the ICRS 2021/22 Photo Contest

Dear participants of the ICRS 2022 photo contest. We are very happy to announce that despite all the difficulties caused by Covid 19, we were now able to successfully complete our photo contest. The jury, consisting of the ICRS organizing committee, has recently selected the three winners of each category. The decision was not easy for us, because the quality of the submitted images was consistently high.

We were also able to show the 100 best images to an interested audience in Bremen from 3.7.2022 to 16.10. 2022 at the Haus der Wissenschaften.

We would like to thank all participants, because with your great pictures you made it possible for us to make the fascination, threat and research topics around the coral reefs known to a wider audience. We would also like to thank you for your patience. Again and again we had to postpone the project due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

We would also like to thank all our sponsors: The team of the Haus der Wissenschaft in Bremen, who gave us the rooms and their time for free. The Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein zu Bremen von 1864 (www.nwv-bremen.de) and the Senator for Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing, who provided us with funding for the exhibition design. And last but not least, to the sponsors for the first prizes. The diving tour operator Art-of-Active and the Whispering Palms Resort (www.whispering-palms.com) (www.art-of-active.com) and Easy Diving and Beach Resort (www.sipalay.com) for sponsoring the diving trips for the first place winners in each category.
